Münchnones are versatile 1,3-dipolar addition substrates and have proven key in the construction of a range of natural Products,[1] pharmacologically relevant heterocycles[2] and fullerene or carbon nanotubes functionalization.[3] Our group have recently focused our efforts on synthesis of bismünchmones, the synthesis ofbismunchnones is shown as below.
