Aims: To investigate the effects of Compound Astragalus and Salvia Miltiorrhiza Extract (CASE) on the hepatocarcinogenesis in rats.Methods: Rats were randomly divided into control group, DEN (0.2％, ig x14 weeks) group, and three dosages groups of CASE (60, 120, or 240 mg/kg, ig x16 weeks).The rats were sacrificed at 12th week or 16th week after the start of DEN administration.
