Unsteady Galloping of a Slender Prism:Experiment and Nonlinear Mathematical Model

  This study has developed a nonlinear mathematical model for unsteady self-excited forces(USEF)acting on a slender prism to address the shortcomings of the classical quasi-steady theory in predicting galloping instabilities of prisms.The USEF and galloping response prism were obtained from a hybrid aeroelastic-pressure base(HAPB)wind tunnel test.It was found that the galloping response predicted by the USEF matches well with the experimental result whereas the quasi-steady theory cannot accurately predict the galloping instability.According to an energy method,the USEF was quantitatively decomposed into three components: an aerodynamic damping force component,an aerodynamic stiffness force component and a remain force component.Only the aerodynamic damping and aerodynamic stiffness components input energy to an oscillation system.Accordingly,a nonlinear mathematical model of the USEF that is a 5th-order polynomial function with respect to the aerodynamic damping and stiffness force components was established.The results indicated that the 5th-order model was accurate in predicting galloping instabilities of the prism.For the purpose of convenient use,a simplified 3rd-order nonlinear mathematical model was obtained as high-order terms in the 5th-order model have a slight effect on galloping response.The results showed that the 3rd-order model can precisely predict galloping instabilities of prisms with different mass-damping ratios.

为了研究桥梁全生命期技术状况自然衰变,预测桥梁状况发展,本文基于同条高速上同类典型桥梁的有限历史技术状况数据,建立了桥梁技术状况自然衰变模型,可用以预测桥梁技术状况未来的发展趋势,为养护时机的确定提供基础。研究表明基于有限历史技术状况数据建立的桥梁技术状况自然衰变模型具有一定的可操作性和适用性。

本文针对在役公路隧道,考虑山岭隧道与盾构隧道在结构特征上的区别,分别建立了公路隧道的结构安全评估体系,并且提出了一套采用模糊综合评判与变权重相结合的结构安全评估方法。基于上海延安东路隧道的检测数据应用了该方法,结果表明,该方法在兼顾多指标因素对评价结果共同作用的同时,能有效反映出部分指标恶化对于最终评判结果的影响,对在役公路隧道的结构安全评估具有一定的参考价值。
新版《公路工程质量检验评定标准》(第一册土建部分)即将实施之际,围绕隧道工程的质量控制,对衬砌厚度、仰拱、衬砌背后空洞等主要关键指标的控制标准与检测方法做进一步探讨,并提出合理化建议,以供在标准执行过程中加强质量验收控制及再次修订时参考。
