  Objectives: Theca cells play an important role in maintaining follicles development, particularly, in controlling ovarian steroidogenesis by supplying androgens to granulosa cell for conversion into estrogen.Although it has been known that steroid hormone production from theca cells is mainly under the control of LH, the intracellular signaling mechanisms that modulate theca cells secrete steroid hormones is unclear.Our aim is to have looked at the mechanism of luteinizing hormone (LH) on goat theca cells androgen production, and which is an important step towards better understanding the role of LH in follicle function and development mechanism.
