Nitrones are not only widely recognized as important building blocks in the synthesis of various natural and biologically active compounds,but also used as both spin-tap reagents and therapeutic agents.The feature of nitrones was severed as 1,3-dipoles to construct functionalized heterocycles.Up to now,the nitrones are successfully used in[2+2],[3+2],[3+3],[4+3],or[2+2+3]cycloaddition with various electrophiles.However,most of these transformations are applied to N-alkyl/N-aryl aldonitrones and N-alkyl/N-aryl ketonitrones.
