The electroless silver plating procedure was used to prepare the silver-coated flake graphite as the filler of the conductive adhesive. The properties of the silver coated graphite (conductivity) as well as the conductive adhesives (resistivity and shear strength) were studied using the universal meter, the diagrams of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the shear strength testing. The results from the experiment showed that the conductivity of the Ag-coated flake graphite was increased by 4 times against that from un-coated graphite under the condition of the ratio of solvent over graphite taken as 15 % and plating at 60 ℃.The shear strength of the conductivity adhesive filled with Ag-coated flake graphite was usually higher than that one filled with un-coated graphite.
