Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been discussed widely from developed countries to developing countries.Chinese government began to promote CSR all over China.However,there are still some challenges for the mining companies in Western China to take CSR initiatives.The implementation of CSR is not only the mining companiesown business,it also needs government to make efforts.It is essential for the companies to correctly understand CSR and integrate CSR into their business agenda.From government side,it should carry out some public policies to require all enterprises to fulfill their social responsibility,and meanwhile provide effective support to the mining companies.
