Objective: To optimize the prescription of freeze-dried Alprostadil-loaded microemulsion and study the influences on entrapment efficiency of freeze-dried Alprostadil-loaded microemulsion.Methods: Based on the result of pre-tests, we optimized the existed freeze-drying process by screening important factors of the process.The pseudo-ternary phase diagram was prepared by drawing the profile of conductivity-water content to optimize the factors of formulation which was Krn, composition of the oil phase and ratio of drug / lipid with particle size and entrapment efficiency as indexes.
