This study discusses the survival of plant under the absorption of UV-C radiation with green seaweed (Codium iyengerii).The study comprises of 3 treatments of UV-C(100-290nm) radiation for one minute dose in 24, 76 and 100 hrs.It was a decrease of plant height, fresh mass of leaves, shoots and roots as well as leaf area.The negative effect of UV-C radiation results in deformed morphological parameters.High levels of UV-C clearly decreased the relative growth rate, carbohydrate, amino acids and protein contents of plant.
