  Two typical structures of skin of variation in thickness and bonding composite materials were investigated with ultrasonic array detection technique, and the detection capability of ultrasonic array detection technique and conventional ultrasonic was analysed.The results reveal that, C-scan images are acquired respectively with acquisition mode of signal amplitude or time of flight by ultrasonic array detection, and the skin of variation in thickness and bonding composite materials can be one-off tested.
