Objective microRNAs play an important role in the process of many cardiovascular diseases at the post transcriptional level.Hypertrophy is the common pathological characteristics in diverse cardiovascular diseases, such as hypertension, heart failure, cardiovalvulitis. The potential role of micoRNA-214 (miR-214) in the process of cardiac hypertrophy is not well known. In the present study,we investigate miR-214 expression in a mouse with transverse aortic constriction (TAC)induced hypertrophy and in a neonatal mouse ventricular cardiomyocyte (NMVCs) model of Ang-Ⅱ-stimulated hypertrophy.
