After four weeks in a vegetative state, the patient is classified as in a persistent vegetative state. It is a diagnosis of some uncertainty because a persistent vegetative state is a disorder of consciousness in which patients with severe brain damage who where in a coma progress to a state of partial arousal rather than true awareness.Neuronal recovery in coma patients is a formidable task.In this work we show therapeutic results in patients with persistent vegetative state from diverse etiology in whom the awareness were almost complete. The basis of our treatment are the enhancement of human photosynthesis;the hitherto unknown capacity of the human body to splits, breaks or dissociates the water molecule. This unexpected finding in human retina by our team, in 1990;gradually was understood as the very first reaction or primary spark in the chain of biochemical events in the living cell.In the Central Nervous System the conclusion was astonishing: The main source of energy is water, therefore the role of the ventricles and subarachnoid space in the understanding and treatment of several or many diseases of the CNS must be rethinking. Our therapeutic results are amazing, patients with coma in Glasgow 2 level changes their conscious level in 24 hour to Glasgow 15.When human photosynthesis is stimulated in our body, then it recovers the balance and begin to make what has been made during millions years.
