  Abnormal immune responses are highly relevant in the pathogenesis of chronic obstructive pulmo nary disease (COPD)and dendritic cells (DCs) provide a critical checkpoint for immunity by their capacity t o both induce and suppress immunity.We hypothesized thatBufei Yishen granules, a formula of Traditional Ch inese Medicinewhich can tonify the lung and nourish the kidney, can improve cellular immunity and dendritic cell phenotypes in COPD rats induced by cigarette-smoke and bacterial infection exposures.We randomized t he Sprague-Dawley rats into control (CTRL), COPD, dexamethasone (DXM), high-, medium-and low-dose of Bufei Yishen granules (HBY, MBY and LBY) groups, and measured T cells subsets in peripheral bloodandbronchoalveo lar lavage fluid (BALF) and DCs phenotypes in single cell suspension oflung tissue (SCSL) and BALF by flow cytometry, and observed histological impairments under microscope.COPD rats showed characteristic airway i nflammation, remodeling and obstruction, and emphysema, and lower blood CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+, BALF CD4+/CD8+compared to CTRL rats (P<0.01), while blood and BALF CD8+, SCSL OX62+, OX62+MHCII+, OX62+CD80+ and OX62+CD86+and lung CD80, CD86 and CD207 were significantly higher (P<0.01).All above-mentioned biomarkers were imp roved at different levels with different treatments, especially in HBY and MBY groups.Compared with DXM gr oup, blood CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ were elevated in HBY and MBY group (P<0.05, P<0.01).Our resuits indicate tha tBufei Yishen granules have significant effects on stable COPD and can improve the pulmonary impairments;t he main mechanisms might involve improving the function of T lymphocyte subsets and suppressing the migration and maturation of DCs.

目的 总结干扰素治疗丙型肝炎后肝硬化失代偿期病人的疗效。方法 使用干扰素和利巴韦林治疗治疗17例慢性丙型肝炎肝硬化失代偿期患者。结果 17例患者中,11例分别在3~6个月HCV RNA转阴,肝功能正常,完成了10~12个月的疗程;4例患者HCV RNA未转阴,肝功能基本正常;2例肝功能恶化,终止治疗。结论 对部分丙型肝炎后肝硬化失代偿期病人使用干扰素治疗是有效的。
